The Gay Military Signal is seeking Journalism Interns. These are Volunteer Positions.
Gain experience working in LGBT media
Interview members of congress
Write feature articles
Develop podcasts, web videos, and blogs
Hone your skills in:
Editing, interviewing and writing, Web Design, Layout, PodCasting, Web Video, Blogging and more.
-All areas of skill and levels of experience will be considered-
Requirements:
Have a positive attitude about LGBT Rights and an interest in advocating repealing the Don't Ask Don't Tell law.
Have skill and or experience in one or more of the following areas:
Editing, interviewing and writing, Web Design, Layout, PodCasting, Web Video, and Blogging
Be over 18 years of age
Be a returning veteran, veteran, or active service member (for blog);
Or be a student, undergraduate, graduate, or post graduate student;
Or be engaged in job transition with experience and or skills in above areas,
and or be willing to volunteer a portion of your time as a Gay Military Signal intern.
